Towards the ceiling the system warms and cools the room like a conventional floor heating system. The climate floor is a mixture of a floor heating and large ventilation ducts which – at the same time - function as heat exchangers.
Simultaneously, energy from the cooling or heating tubes, which beam downwards to the insulating layers, is captured by the large heat exchanger ducts through which air is blown by a ventilation device. This air is then rapidly supplied to the room through slits in the floor. Energy is used twice and the building is provided with fresh air.
Ever more improved hygiene standards increase the pressure to meet the requirements for the design of building ventilation systems. Almost consistent indoor air conditions offer ideal growth environments for various germs, fungi and bacteria. Even a cleaning of rooms in regular intervals is not sufficient to meet the requirements. The consequence is an above average high risk of infections in rooms with a high density and frequency of people. Active oxygen neutralizes germs, fungi, bacteria, odors, aerosols and oils by the decomposing of organic compounds (hydrocarbons) to O2, CO2 and H2O.
The key components of the system are the large heat exchanger areas integrated into the floor used for heating or cooling the air flow. They react fast and flexible to changes in temperatures. With low temperatures for heating and high temperatures for cooling over 16°C the climate floor is especially economic and energy efficient in connection with solar or geothermal energy. Optimal preconditions for solar-, heat pump- and condensing boiler technologies, leading to an improvement of the COP and total economy.
The greatest problem when tempering or air conditioning indoor spaces is air velocity. In most cases, air is brought into a room at high air speeds in order to achieve the required heating or cooling performance. However, this leads to draughts and air movements which are uncomfortable and make people sick. This is precisely where this system comes in. Large exchange areas, fresh air, low speed at the air exhausts as well as an ideal room tempering with minimum temperature differences between walls, floors and ceilings make the difference. You do no longer want to do without this wellness climate and comfort.
This technology is an efficient air distribution system with integrated heat exchangers in the floor. These large high performance heat exchangers allow an air tempering of about 4 Kelvin per meter exchange area. This tempering prior to entering into the room means, that the heat generator or the ventilation device does not have to generate this output by electrical energy. Consequently, operating costs and energy expenditure are reduced. The results are economic and efficient heat generators and air conditioning units for the entire building.
